Our longcase (or grandfather) clock is in a traditional style with solid oak (or other woods) case, a swan neck pediment top and arch brass dial with moving moon and seconds hand.

The high quality 8-day, triple chiming movement plays Whittington, St.Michael or Westminster chimes on the quarters and strikes the hour on a twelve-rod gong. Weight driven on metal ropes and pulleys and wound with a cranked key, it has a true one second beat pendulum, with a polished brass bob and power maintaining mechanism. 

The weights have polished brass weight shells with iron fillings. The chimes are fitted with night silence as well as a front shut off lever for complete silencing of the chimes and strike.

Cost including delivery is £2900**. A deposit of £700 is payable on placing an order.
