Repair and Restoration
of Clocks and Barometers

Like many Yorkshire Dales villages in the 19th Century, Reeth had its own clockmaker. James Bothroyd and his son Richard, made 30 hour and 8-day long case clocks, many of which can still be found working today.

150 years later, Ian Whitworth founded Clock Works in Reeth, to offer a
comprehensive repair, servicing and restoration facility for all types of clocks and barometers.

Repair and restoration is carried out in a fully equipped workshop and customers can bring their clocks to the workshop, or a collection and delivery service is available in some areas.

Repair estimates are free and all repairs are guaranteed for 12 months.

Our showroom is now closed and only a handful of restored clocks for sale remain.

Until 31st January 2010 you can still find me at:

The Dales Centre, Silver Street, Reeth, North Yorkshire, DL11 6SP
